RADIO FORTH

KNIGHT FALL is a very very funny play. It's an alternative look at the Knights of the Round Table, particularly Lancelot and his Quest for the Holy Grail. The plot follows Lancelot and his two companions, the gay young Gawayne and the old doddery Parsifal, on their journey. Along the way, comments on men and women's roles are brought in, so it's not completely frivolous, but the way it's presented makes a very watchable show which is bound to have you laughing. Lancelot steals the show with a brilliant performance nicely complemented by Gawayne and Parsifal. The women's parts are disappointingly short - a pity as they were played well. Altogether, it was a show which kept me laughing for ages afterwards.
